WalkScroll does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data — including your step count, selected apps, usage time, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only.

This data is used solely to calculate your walking progress and earned screen time. Step data is never uploaded, shared, or sent to any server.
On iOS, WalkScroll uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls) to manage app restrictions. App selection tokens are processed entirely on-device by iOS and are opaque — WalkScroll cannot see which specific apps you select.
On Android, WalkScroll uses Usage Access and Overlay permissions to display reminders when distracting apps are opened.

All app data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.
